First Look: Canon PIXMA MG6270 All-in-One Printer
Regie Fernando on June 7th, 2012 with 1 Comment
We’ve just received one of the newest A4 photo printer among the PIXMA lineup by Canon. This model is the PIXMA MG6270, a dual function photo printer that can scan and of course, print. Initial feelings are exciting because this is a Wi-Fi model with LCD screen on top, it is also pegged as one of the best all-in-one A4 printer out there. I’ve just tested printing my calling card and it printed the text as crisp as my old 4800 dpi iP4300. Interestingly I noticed that spooling the paper was super silent, I almost miss tapping my timer. It [...]

Regie Fernando on March 14th, 2012 with 7 Comments
Here we go! One of the hottest mirrorless camera is in our hands right now. RedDot Philippines was kind enough to give us a test run of the new flagship Micro Four Thirds Olympus OM-D E-M5 24 hours before it goes back to Japan. This is a quick preview only but we will try to tackle the important functions of this retro shooter. Please note that this is a pre-production camera and it doesn’t represent the final production quality to be released this April. I highly doubt if it will change physically though. The SLR looking E-M5 is quite portable, size [...]
X-rite Colormunki Photo Spectrophotometer Hands-on Review
Regie Fernando on September 14th, 2011 with 0 Comments
Intro What is a Spectrophotometer? An excerpt from www.colorwiki.com “Spectrophotometer is designed to measure light energy at various frequencies across the entire spectrum of visible light. Its measurement returns data from roughly 400nm (nanometers) to 700nm or so. Basically, it measures many bands of light at once. Spectrophotometers are able to measure reflective light (off of a page) as well as emissive light (off of a monitor) which is why many of these devices offer printer profiling abilities” I know that reading the above definition can make someone scratch his head and ignore it. But in less scientific way a Spectrophotometer [...]

Spectra Light Review
Regie Fernando on February 15th, 2008 with 0 Comments
Most photographers uses external flash in lighting up their subject in dark situations, creative lighting and filling up the shadows. The built-in bounce card on our flash doesn’t do any miracles. Basically, the Spectra Light is a bounce, diffuser plus and plus other uses accessory for external flash in one. Can the Spectra Light revolutionize our ways of using bounce cards? You will find out after reading my whole review. The Spectra Light is [...]
