Fuji Almost Admits the “Orb Phenomenon” Plaguing the X10 and XS-1

on March 15th, 2012 3 Comments

According to a post on Dpreview “the company is developing a modified sensor in response to the problem, that can also affect the X-S1 premium superzoom”  Its not clear though whether they are replacing the affected ones. But the post stated that affected owners should contact their local Fujifilm service center. We will try to contact FujiYKL the distributor here in the Philippines if they are aware of this. We’ll let you know.

Is it a good thing that I haven’t bought an X10 yet? Hmm… Maybe will just have to wait for the “new” sensor before purchasing one.
