Canon PIXMA the leading inkjet printer brand in the Philippines sent me a review unit of the PIXMA iP4970. It’s a single function A4 printer that umm yes functions as a printer. The iP4970 is the top of the line model among the A4 single function bunch. Kindly note that the printer is not brand new, thus you will see some noticeable scratches with the actual photos of the unit. Physical The PIXMA iP4970 being the top of the line single function A4 printer share a lot of things from its higher-end models like the MG6270 and the A3 wonder [...]

Few weeks ago we received one of the newest printer of Canon PIXMA, the MG6270. The MG6270 is a dual-function printer that scan and print. Essentially the A4 printer has the newest technology of PIXMA, including the Intelligent Touch System, Cloud Link services and hybrid ink system. The basics; read my iX6570 review to get some printer cum color management sorta primer. The built of the MG6270 is the same as the current models of PIXMA which has an elegant black glossy plastic finish or piano black as some may describe it. I’ll repeat it again, I’m not a big [...]

We’ve just received one of the newest A4 photo printer among the PIXMA lineup by Canon. This model is the PIXMA MG6270, a dual function photo printer that can scan and of course, print. Initial feelings are exciting because this is a Wi-Fi model with LCD screen on top, it is also pegged as one of the best all-in-one A4 printer out there. I’ve just tested printing my calling card and it printed the text as crisp as my old 4800 dpi iP4300. Interestingly I noticed that spooling the paper was super silent, I almost miss tapping my timer. It [...]
It’s beautiful ain’t it? I’m now salivating the idea that my EF-50mm f1.2 is on that beauty. Unluckily this is just a fantasy, a 3D rendition by the talented designer David Riesenberg. The mockup rendition was based from the classic Canon AE series. David is skeptical about Canon going back to this retro design as he told me from our email exchange. Will Canon be releasing one? We don’t know, but what I’m pretty sure is that they want a slice of the Mirrorless pie. See and read David’s full post.
